  1. The equipment you require is barbell, a seat or a flat bench and a step or block.
  2. Sit down on a seat or a flat bench.
  3. Place your toes on a step, block or board placed in front of you at one foot distance.
  4. Place a barbell on your lap, but keep it a few inches above the knees.
  5. Hold the barbell in its place.
  6. Now breathe out, squeeze your calves and raise your heels off the ground all at the same time.
  7. Stay for a second into this position.
  8. Breathe in and slowly bring your heels down to the ground.
  9. Repeat the whole process.
