Using THCA as a Treatment Solution After a Workout

THCA has received a lot of attention in the last few months. But,many people don’t know what THCA actually is. This is why we have decided to take a look at this non-psychoactive cannabinoid in greater detail. THCA is different to the psychoactive cannabinoid THC. It only becomes THC when the THCA is dried and heated to such an extent that it is converted to THC. A heated and refined TCHA converted to THCis rather strong, and packs a powerful potency of between 95% and 100%.

Researchers believe that THCA is able tohelp patients with several different medical conditions. What is more, the TCHA can be ingested without needing it to be smoked which eliminates any psychoactive effect taking place. From the research that has been done on TCHA, it has been found to have the following properties:

  • Anti-inflammatory- which is ideal for patients with arthritis and lupus
  • Neuro-Protective- helps with neurodegenerative diseases
  • Anti-emetic- great way to avoid nausea and increase appetite
  • Anti-Proliferative- useful in the treatment of prostate cancer

If we take a look at the Neuro-Protective properties of THCA, these properties help a patient with symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. There is even potential for it to be used with patients of Dementia.

Also, with the anti-emetic THCA properties, this is ideal for use for patients with stomach issues that might result in severe nausea or loss of appetite. Of course, more research and studies need to be conducted to see the long-term effects of THCA, and there may well be other benefits that researchers have not currently uncovered. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest THCA is beneficial in helping to treat insomnia, muscle spasms, and relieving pain.

It is important to note that every strain that has a large THC concentration that has not yet been decarboxylated will have THCA. Usually, the cannabinoid levels are at their greatest when the cannabis plant is live or freshly harvested. This is why raw cannabis is usually juiced to produce the benefits of THCA.
